Deflow TW 5 Fin Set
The Tyler Warren 5-fin features a generous template with a timeless outline, offering both thruster and quad configurations. Use it as a thruster for powerful, drawn-out turns in the pocket, or switch to the quad setup for a more fluid, responsive feel.
In thruster mode, the larger side fins deliver excellent drive, while the smaller trailer fin helps to create a smooth release. When set up as a quad, the fins provide a strong combination of drive and control, while still allowing the board to feel loose and agile.
In Tyler’s words: “This 5 fin set is designed to have a good amount of drive and release as a quad or three fin set up. The thruster has slightly larger sides for lots of drive while the trailer is slightly smaller to loosen it up while still providing plenty of hold.
As a quad the goal is drive with plenty of hold on the front fins and not to much fin on the trailers. I would say this fin is a nice blend of medium/large feeling."
Tyler Warren 五鰭套裝擁有寬大的樣板與歷久不衰的經典輪廓,可組成三鰭(thruster)或四鰭(quad)兩種配置。作為三鰭使用時,能在浪袋中畫出強勁有力、拉長的轉向弧線;切換成四鰭設定,則能帶來更流暢、更靈敏的騎乘手感。
在三鰭模式下,較大的側鰭(side fins)能提供出色的驅動力,而較小的尾鰭(trailer fin)則有助於製造順暢的釋放感(release)。而設定為四鰭時,舵片組合能兼具強勁驅動力與良好掌控性,同時仍讓板身保持鬆脫靈活的操控感。
Tyler 本人這樣描述:「這套五鰭組的設計目標,是無論組成四鰭還是三鰭配置,都能擁有充足的驅動力與釋放感。三鰭配置的側鰭略大一些,以提供大量驅動力,而尾鰭則稍小,讓板身更鬆脫靈活,同時仍保有足夠的抓地力。四鰭配置的目標則是在前側舵片上獲得驅動力與充分的抓地力,而尾鰭部分則不需要太大的面積。我會說這款舵片是介於中型與大型手感之間、恰到好處的融合。」
