Firewire Seaside 衝浪板採用全新 Repreve Volcanic 技術，身為這款有史以來最暢銷的衝浪板，現在又更藉著火山技術的應用讓這張板的性能更上一層樓。

火山技術與現在已純熟的氦氣設置相結合，在性能方面更寫下絢爛的一頁，而且與傳統衝浪板材質相比，更減少了對環境的負面影響。

Volcanic Tech 由火山岩擠壓而成的玄武岩纖維製成。岩石被壓碎、熔化後，利用壓縮技術編成纖維並製成布料，這種材質在強度和重量方面與碳纖具有相似的特性，但由於這種火山岩纖維源自有機原料，與生物樹脂結合後，比傳統碳纖更加的生態友善。

此外，Repreve 技術是將海洋廢棄塑料回收後，再與Firewire 上述的的火山岩纖維部技術相結合，在各性能方面均獲提升。

The Volcanic tech combined with the now familiar Helium set up is a brilliant step forward in terms of performance but also has a reduced environmental impact compared to traditional surfboard builds.

Volcanic Tech is made from Basalt Fibres Extruded from Volcanic rocks. The rocks are crushed, melted and extruded into woven fibres that make up the cloth. The molten rock is then extruded through small nozzles to produce continuous filaments of basalt fibre. The filaments are then cut into long stem fibres and woven into lamination cloth fibre. The cloth has similar characteristics to carbon as it relates to strength and weight however because the fibres are derived from Organic Raw materials, when combined with Bio Resins it serves as better degradable ECO alternative than using traditional carbon fibre cloth.

Repreve are leading the charge in recycling ocean plastics into new uses, and combined with Firewire, they are adding recycled ocean plastics into the Volcanic tech combined with the now familiar Helium set up is a brilliant step forward in terms of performance but also has a reduced environmental impact compared to traditional surfboard builds.
